The project we are currently working on is “Advertising for Change.” This project consists of a series of ads if you will that represent stereotypes and how untrue they are. Also the fact that most people will judge immediately upon meeting or seeing the person even having no prior knowledge of the individual. This project aims to target that and make an ironic twist using humor and stereotypical themes to shine light on this problem.
So far my role in this project was the “getter.” I went to different places to get people and things. For example I would go to the office and find where people were and then go get them. Also I get cameras and stuff. Another part I helped with was I reviewed the script with a bunch of other people.
One of the best parts of this project was the fact that we worked well in a group. Also our small class allows us to do so. Not to mention we have some clever and creative people in our class. I enjoyed working and creating with this group.
